To ensure cases are getting prompt attention, Judge O'Connell requests parties awaiting a decision file a form AOC-280.
Time-sensitive agreed orders (e.g., funeral furlough, release to treatment, etc.) filed with the clerk, whether electronically or in-person, should be brought to the attention of the judge's staff as soon as possible. Even where an order has been filed electronically, a pleading may not come to the attention of the judge within the necessary time-frame unless her staff is made aware that it has been filed.
